It would never leave the dining table during meal times. Chili sauces are used around the world and have a whole lot of varieties depending on the demographic location on where it was made from.

There are a lot of chili sauces that can be bought in almost all major groceries and food stores. And because of its wide array of varieties, you can find different variations of chili sauce recipes all over the world. However, one thing is common: their main ingredient remains to be chili peppers.

As a spicy food lover, you must have wondered how to make chili sauce? No, it’s not hard. In fact, making chili sauce is very easy. Below is a simple recipe on how to make chili sauce.

The first thing to do in making your own chili sauce is to gather all your ingredients. Here are the things you need in your chili sauce:

•	red chilies, long or round
•	1 cup of sugar
•	2 cups of tomato sauce or tomato ketchup
•	vinegar
•	pan
•	food blender
•	water
•	salt and pepper to taste
•	clean bottle

After you have gathered all the things you need, follow these simple steps on how to make chili sauce:

1.	Rinse your chilies and cut them roughly. It is advised to remove the seeds for better flavor.

2.	Place your chilies in your pan and add water until they are completely covered. Cook it over medium heat and bring to a boil.

3.	Once the chilies are soft, remove the pan. Do not let the water complete evaporate. Make sure there are still some left at the bottom of the pan. Let the chilies cool for a while.

4.	Transfer the contents of the pan into a food blender. Add some vinegar, tomato sauce or ketchup, some sugar, salt and black pepper. Blend all your ingredients until they reach the consistency of a fine paste.

5.	Taste your chili sauce. If they aren’t hot enough for you, you can use some chili powder to raise the heat level. Be sure that you don’t go crazy with the chili powder. You can’t bring the heat level to a lower one once it has gone over your heat limit. Take some caution with your heat level.

6.	Transfer back the contents of your blender into a pan and reheat it for a few minutes.

7.	Gently pour your newly made chili sauce into airtight containers. You can now store your newly made chili sauce in your pantry or the refrigerator if you like your condiments a bit cool.

Now you know how to make chili sauce you need to make a trip to your local store to purchase a bottled chili sauce when you have run out of one before meal time. You can now enjoy homemade chili made just right for your taste anytime and anywhere.
